What this mod does
PJ Money adds an economy to Hytale based on coins that exist as items: you carry them in your inventory, you can lose them or store them, and you also get a wallet so you don’t have to lug them around.
The coins
- Copper (1), iron (10), silver (100) and gold (1,000).
- Adamantite (10,000), mithril (100,000), onyxium (1,000,000) and prisma (10,000,000).
Commands
/money opens the interface and /money balance shows what’s in your wallet. With /money deposit all you store every coin from your hotbar, inventory and backpack; /money withdraw takes them out in as few stacks as possible, starting with the highest-value ones. The /pjm shortcut works for everything. It also adds ATMs, and the coin names, symbols and values can be customized.
Integrations
Other mods can pay out in these coins: the author lists Market, BloodMoon, Generators, Mob Events, Zombie Nights, Hyper Crossbows, Collection Master, Hyper Pickaxes and Champions. Better Shop/Auction/OfferHouse also detects it as an economy.
Version 1.2.8 (September 28, 2026) notifies the player who receives a payment.
This mod page was checked with Hytale 0.6 (Update 6). With Update 7 (0.7), released on October 12, 2026, the author has already released a compatible file: version 1.2.9 (October 12, 2026).

Requirements
- Hytale (Early Access) on PC or server, version 0.7 (file PJ-Money-1.2.9.jar)
- PJ CoreLib (required; installed separately)
How to install it
- Open the PJ Money page on CurseForge and click Install to install it with the CurseForge app, or download PJ-Money-1.2.9.jar from the Files tab (the file tagged 0.7).
- If you download it manually, copy the file as is, without unzipping it, into the mods folder: on Windows, %APPDATA%\Hytale\UserData\Mods.
- Open Hytale, right-click the world, check PJ Money in the mod list and save the world settings.
- On a dedicated server, place the file in the server's mods folder and restart it.
- In game, type /money to open the wallet interface.

Common problems
How do I get coins?
Compatible mods hand them out (events, markets, generators…) or the server admin does; the description doesn't mention other sources.
What happens to the coins I'm carrying?
They're regular items. To avoid losing them, deposit them in your wallet with /money deposit all.
Does it work with shops from other authors?
Better Shop/Auction/OfferHouse detects it automatically; with other mods it depends on whether they integrate it.
