What this mod does
Not Enough Gliders expands gliding in Hytale with more than eight different gliders. Each one has an ability you trigger with right-click, almost always by spending an elemental essence, to get around Orbis.
The gliders
- Bone Glider (formerly «Default Glider»): a simple recipe for the early game; it’s the base for all the others.
- Skysoarer: charges forward.
- Verdant and Riptide: spend life or water essence to lift you up or boost you wherever you’re looking.
- Magma and Glacial: long or medium dashes at the cost of burning or freezing you for 3 seconds.
- Void: doesn’t lose altitude while gliding and, with 3 Void essences, restores all your stamina at the cost of 30% of your max health.
- Volt and Glider of the Cosmos: the author marks them as unobtainable for now.
With Update 7
Version 1.8.0 (October 12, 2026) is the file for 0.7. Update 7 brings its own glider, the Scrap Glider from the goblin gadgets, and the mod makes use of it: the Glider of the Cosmos now requires it in its recipe and the Void Glider also needs 3 Voidtaken Hides. The author has changed a lot of values and warns they may be unbalanced. It’s a work in progress: some recipes use ingredients that don’t exist in the base game yet. It supports Voile.

Requirements
- Hytale (Early Access) on PC or server, version 0.7 (file NotEnoughGliders-1.8.0.jar)
- No declared dependencies: doesn't need other mods
- Elemental essences (life, water, fire, ice, Void) to use the abilities
How to install it
- Open the Not Enough Gliders page on CurseForge and click Install to set it up with the CurseForge app, or download NotEnoughGliders-1.8.0.jar from the Files tab (the file marked 0.7).
- If you download it manually, copy the file as is, without unzipping it, into the mods folder: on Windows, %APPDATA%\Hytale\UserData\Mods.
- Open Hytale, right-click the world, check Not Enough Gliders in the mod list and save the world settings.
- On a dedicated server, put the file in the server's mods folder and restart it.
- Craft the Bone Glider first: it's the base ingredient for all the other gliders.

Common problems
Does it replace the Update 7 Scrap Glider?
No, these are additional gliders. Since 1.8.0, the Glider of the Cosmos uses the Scrap Glider as an ingredient.
Can you get all of them?
Not yet: the author marks the Volt Glider and the Glider of the Cosmos as unobtainable, and some recipes use ingredients that don't exist in the base game yet.
Can I use it on a server with a store or paid ranks?
The license forbids server owners from charging for anything tied to the mod (access, items, ranks or perks). For commercial use, the author asks you to contact him.
