What this mod does

The Abarth 1000 TCR is a small late-1960s touring race car, recreated by Pessio for Assetto Corsa EVO. It was the first car he made with the official car editor (SDK) that Kunos released in version 0.7, and he used it to learn the tool. Even so, the result is a complete car that the community rates very highly.

What’s included

  • Several body colors to choose from in the garage.
  • Two liveries with a customizable race number.
  • A sample livery and a PSD template file so you can make your own.
  • Physics tuned to behave consistently with Kunos’ official classics.

Who it’s for

If you like light, low-power classics with lots of cornering speed, this car is a great fit for narrow tracks with linked corners. It’s also a good base if you want to practice making liveries, thanks to the included template.

Versions

Version 1.1 fixed the mirrors (EVO uses three different systems to render them), improved interior materials and the distance LOD models, and added a new livery. Before that, 1.0 set up the external liveries and the Release Candidate tuned the brakes, force feedback and roll centers.
