What 39,99 € gets you today
Buying it gives you access to version 0.9 and every Early Access update through 1.0 at no extra cost. According to our count in the Assetto Corsa vs Assetto Corsa EVO guide, after 0.9 there are around 69 car models and 18 tracks (Holymod’s count, not an official Kunos figure). Steam asks for 100 GB free on an SSD.
Will the price go up at version 1.0?
Yes, according to Kunos. In the Steam Early Access FAQ, the studio confirms the price will change between Early Access and the final release, and that it could adjust it during Early Access as it adds content. It hasn’t said by how much. As for the date, Digital Bros (505 Games’ parent group) placed the full launch between January and June 2027 in its September 2026 results. Before that comes 0.10, with the first part of the Eifel Free Roam, scheduled for December 9, 2026. The details are in the Assetto Corsa EVO roadmap.
Is it free or is there a demo?
No. There’s no demo, free trial or official free version, and there’s no record of it being given away on any store. If you’re unsure, Steam lets you request a refund under its standard terms (less than 14 days since purchase and less than 2 hours played). Before buying, check the requirements: it needs 100 GB on an SSD.
Is it cheaper on console?

Watch out for «free downloads»
Any site offering «Assetto Corsa EVO free» or «full» is distributing a pirated copy: it’s illegal, it’s a common source of malware and, in an Early Access game that updates often, you’d miss out on new versions and official multiplayer. We don’t link to any.
What is free: mods and tools
The vast majority of EVO community content is free. Kunos’s Car Editor (official SDK) for building cars is free, as are LiveryLab Evo for designing liveries and ACEvoPerf, an open-source performance mod.
