What this mod does

Hina’s Drift Club is a pack of three drift cars for Assetto Corsa EVO. They aren’t new models: they’re based on official cars from the game and completely change how they drive. Engine, gearing, steering, suspension, dampers, anti-roll bars and differential have all been tuned together, and each car runs its own tire called Hina’s Drifters.

The three cars

  • Toyota AE86 Trueno: naturally aspirated, around 219 hp, with a five-speed manual. The friendliest one for learning to start and hold a drift.
  • Mazda RX-7 Spirit R: turbo rotary with around 330 hp, also manual. More push and more inertia than the AE86.
  • BMW M3 E46 CSL: naturally aspirated inline-six with around 375 hp and SMG paddles. Very direct throttle response.

What’s new in 1.2

Version 1.2 adds drift-focused cameras (next to the front wheels and a GoPro-style view from the tailgate) and unlocks part of the setup so you can tweak it without losing each car’s character. The AE86 and RX-7 support a manual clutch and H-pattern shifter.

Who it’s for

For anyone who wants to drift in EVO without wrestling with setups: the cars are ready to hit the track. The author tuned them over many laps and with telemetry at Suzuka East.

Common problems

Are these new cars?

No. They're drift variants of official EVO cars, with their own physics, tires and cameras.

Can I use a clutch and H-pattern shifter?

Yes on the AE86 and RX-7. The BMW keeps its paddles.

Why does the car show up twice or fail to load?

You probably have two versions of the same car in the mods folder. Keep only the latest one.
