Best Assetto Corsa EVO mods for version 0.9 (2026)

The best Assetto Corsa EVO mods for 0.9: official SDK cars, liveries, HUD apps and tools, plus which ones work online and how to install them.

Updated: 26 Oct 2026

As of October 23, 2026, the best Assetto Corsa EVO mods are cars built with the official SDK (like the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 «Daytona» or the Hina’s Drift Club pack), liveries made with LiveryLab Evo, HUD apps loaded through ACE UI App Loader and external programs like SimHub or ACEvoPerf. The game is still in Early Access, on version 0.9 (with the 0.9.1 patch from September 1), and is PC only. KUNOS opened the game to community cars in 0.7 (June 2026), brought them to multiplayer in 0.8 (July) along with the external livery system, and 0.8.1 added the livery linker and reworked server-side car checks. Tracks still have no official tool.

Car mods: the best of the official SDK

Community cars are built with the Car Editor KUNOS released in 0.7 and install as a single .kspkg file. Cars from the original Assetto Corsa don’t work. Five stand out right now:

  • Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Competizione «Daytona»: one of the highest-rated car mods for EVO. A front-mounted 4.4-liter V12, three liveries and a cockpit with animations designed for VR. Version 1.2 (September 2026) reworks materials and mirrors.
  • Hina’s Drift Club: three of the game’s official cars (Toyota AE86, Mazda RX-7 Spirit R and BMW M3 E46 CSL) rebuilt for drifting, with their own tire model. Version 1.2 adds drift cameras and unlocks part of the setup options.
  • Abarth 1000 TCR: Pessio’s first SDK car. Two liveries with an editable race number and a PSD template to make your own.
  • Austin Mini Cooper S Group 2: from the same author; version 1.0 from late September 2026. Together with the Abarth you can put on a classic touring car race.
  • GD808 FormulaCOUPE: an original prototype inspired by 2025 F1, fast and with loads of grip. It’s version 0.0.1 and was released before 0.8.1, so it may not pass server checks.

For going sideways, pair Hina’s cars with The Yard Drift Park, a 380 × 320 meter lot with a central roundabout, banking and 12 starting positions. It’s an original layout that uses assets from your EVO install, has its own installer since 1.2, and its author still considers it a beta.

Liveries: tools and most-downloaded designs

Since 0.8, EVO has an official external livery system. There are two free programs for creating them:

  • LiveryLab Evo: layer-based editor with a 3D view, management for your designs and packs for leagues. Its official mode works in multiplayer; the advanced mode, with drivers and license plates, is single-player only.
  • FORC3 Designer: paint on the 3D model or the 2D template and export in one click. According to its website it covers 72 EVO cars. It’s in beta.

The most-downloaded liveries are by orion777 and recreate Nürburgring cars: the Verstappen Racing Mercedes-AMG GT2 (the most-downloaded EVO livery on OverTake), the Emil Frey #31 Ferrari 296 GT3 and the Rowe Racing BMW M4 GT3. They’re between 1 and 2 MB and only change how the car looks.

HUD apps

EVO has no official system for adding apps to its UI, and two HUD mods at once overwrite the same file. ACE UI App Loader fixes that: it replaces the file once and lets several apps live side by side in a side drawer. Each version works with a specific game build (0.27.0 is the one for EVO 0.9.1). It supports ACE UI Pedal Graph (pedal graph, with loader 0.23.0 or later) and ACE UI Better Delta Bar (loader 0.26.0 or later). They only change what you see, so they’re fine online.

Telemetry and setups

  • SimHub: EVO is on its official list of supported games. Dashboards on a second screen or your phone, LEDs and haptic feedback. The base version is free.
  • Live Telemetry Evo: a transparent window with temperatures, pressures, wear and load for each wheel; it also works with AC, ACC and AC Rally.
  • EVO-HUD: pedals, lap times and temperatures with no installer; it works best in borderless window mode.
  • ACE Setup Tool: setup manager and comparison tool, MoTeC telemetry and fuel strategy, in Spanish.
  • Sheldor’s AC EVO Setup Wizard: you mark what the car is doing wrong and it tells you what to change. Also available in Spanish.
  • Car Setup Unifier: makes a setup for one car show up on every track. Back up your setups folder first.
  • ACE Results Companion: session history, records per car and a fuel calculator. Its author considers it a beta.

Graphics, performance and camera

  • ACEvoPerf: the highest-rated EVO mod on OverTake. It replaces only dstorage.dll to fix crashes when switching cars or tracks, blurry textures and stutters, and enables NVIDIA Reflex.
  • RenoDX HDR: true HDR plus control over bloom and color. It requires ReShade with add-on support.
  • AC EVO Video Settings Switcher: saves one set of video settings for your monitor and another for VR.
  • Real Head Motion and Assetto Corsa EVO Head Tracking: the first tilts the camera with G-forces; the second adds head tracking with OpenTrack, a webcam or your phone (UDP port 4242).
  • Ferrari 296 GTB eDrive: adds electric mode to the official Ferrari. For multiplayer you have to launch the stock car, because servers reject modified files.

For server hosts

ACE Manager runs the official dedicated server from your browser, with championships, live timing and mod car installation. EVO Web Server Manager (version 1.5.0, MIT license) creates and clones servers and sets up full race weekends with mandatory pit stops.

Which AC EVO mods work online

  • Car mods: only on servers that have the exact same version installed. Since 0.8 the server runs a SHA check and rejects modified cars or cars from a different version.
  • Liveries: yes, through the official external livery system.
  • HUD apps and external programs: yes, because they don’t change how the car drives.
  • Mods that alter the game’s content, like eDrive mode: no.

How to install them

Cars go in the mods folder in your user folder (Saved Games > ACE > mods), liveries are applied with their tool and apps with ACE UI App Loader. EVO doesn’t use Content Manager or Custom Shaders Patch, which are for the original Assetto Corsa. You’ll find it step by step in the guide on installing mods in Assetto Corsa EVO.

What happens with 0.10

KUNOS and 505 Games have announced update 0.10 for December 9, 2026, with Free Roam in the Eifel region around the Nürburgring. In Early Access, any version can force updates to mods like ACE UI App Loader, head tracking or eDrive, which disable themselves if they don’t recognize the game. After the patch, check each mod’s page.

Frequently asked questions

Does Assetto Corsa EVO have mods?

Yes. Since 0.7 (June 2026) you can build cars with the official SDK, since 0.8 there are external liveries, and the community releases apps and external programs. As for tracks, there’s only The Yard Drift Park for now.

Do mods from the original Assetto Corsa work in EVO?

No. The format is different: in EVO, cars are packaged as .kspkg with the official editor. Some authors are rebuilding their cars for EVO, like Pessio with the Mini Cooper S.

Which AC EVO mods can I use online?

Official liveries, HUD apps and external programs, always. Car mods, only on servers that have the same version installed.

Are there Assetto Corsa EVO mods on PS5 or Xbox?

No. EVO is PC only and there’s no date for consoles. We explain it in Assetto Corsa EVO on PS5 and Xbox.

Are AC EVO mods free?

Every mod in this guide has a free version. SimHub has an optional paid license for advanced features, and some authors accept voluntary donations.
