What this mod does
Assetto Corsa EVO saves setups per track. If you build a good baseline setup for a car at one track, you won’t see it when you load that same car at another. Car Setup Unifier, by T-RonX, solves that problem with a small Windows script.
What it does
- Creates, for each car, the subfolders for every known track.
- Gathers the files you had spread across tracks into one central setups folder.
- Creates junctions so that central folder shows up inside each track.
- If two setups have the same name, it adds the track name so you don’t lose either one.
The result is that any setup for a car is available on every track, and a new one you save at one track also appears at the others.
Usage
It’s a .bat file that automates Windows commands. You run it with a double-click from any folder and it asks for confirmation. You can run it again without issues, because it checks the structure that already exists. Even so, the author recommends backing up the Saved Games\ACE\Car Setups folder before using it. New cars are processed automatically and can also be added by hand in the script itself.
Updates
The author adapts it to each version of the game. 0.9-1 adds the cars and tracks from EVO 0.9, such as the Audi R8 LMS GT2 and the Mazda RX-7 FD. It’s MIT-licensed.

Common problems
Can I run it multiple times?
Yes. It checks the existing structure and, according to the author, shouldn't lose any data.
What about cars it doesn't know?
It processes any folder in Car Setups; you can also add cars by hand in the script.
Is it safe?
It's a readable MIT-licensed .bat, but the author asks you to use it at your own risk and with a backup.
