What this mod does
Godfather of EVO is a free race engineer for Assetto Corsa EVO, created by Greenbuddy1976 as a personal project. It records your laps automatically, analyzes how the car behaves and suggests setup changes tailored to your driving style. It’s available in English, German, Spanish and Italian.
What it does
- Automatic recording: it starts with Windows, detects the game, car, track and setup, and saves each stint with the car, track and date.
- Analysis of understeer and oversteer on corner entry, apex and exit, tire pressures and temperatures, and TC and ABS usage.
- Setup suggestions for pressures, anti-roll bars, brake bias, differential, TC, springs, dampers, camber, ride height and rear wing; you can accept, disable or edit each change.
- It stops tweaking the setup once it no longer improves: after three attempts with no progress, it marks it as finished.
- Baseline setups for new tracks.
Privacy and security
It reads EVO’s telemetry from shared memory and the game log, always in read-only mode, and only writes setups to the Car Setups folder. It doesn’t upload any data: it only uses the internet to load track photos. It doesn’t use executables, just plain-text PowerShell scripts, and it doesn’t ask for admin rights.

How to install it
- Download the ZIP from the Godfather of EVO page on OverTake.gg and extract it.
- If you want, check the SHA-256 hash the author publishes.
- Run "Install Godfather EVO.cmd" and choose your language from the menu (Spanish is included).
- Open the app from the desktop icon; the recorder will start on its own from the next Windows startup.
- Play EVO: after a few laps, the app will start suggesting setup changes.

Common problems
Is it available in Spanish?
Yes. You choose between English, German, Spanish and Italian during installation.
Does it upload my data to the internet?
No, according to the author. It only connects to load track photos.
How do I uninstall it?
From Windows Settings > Apps; it installs to your user folder without admin rights.
