What this mod does
C13 AEGIS is a post-processing filter by Ciba1991 (C13 Automotive) that brings the Pure LCS look to everyone with fully custom tone mapping and a tailor-made exposure solution. The author presents it as the most stable visual experience he’s achieved. It has over 250,000 downloads on OverTake with a rating of 4.66 out of 5.
What the Directors Cut is
The free version, formerly called Lite, is a trimmed-down edition of C13 AEGIS 3.07, the one C13 Automotive’s patrons get. It cuts the options down to the ones the author uses every day, but according to him it doesn’t remove any of the core logic.
Requirements
- Pure 3.54 or later.
- Only works with Pure LCS.
- Custom Shaders Patch 0.2.11 works; 0.3.0 is recommended for its better specular behavior.
Installation and tips
The author asks you to install it manually only. If you’ve ever applied someone else’s preset, reset Pure to its defaults first so the filter looks as intended. Some users mention that dragging it into Content Manager doesn’t install the script, another reason to copy it manually. The latest update is from September 2026, so it’s up to date with recent Pure versions.

Requirements

How to install it
- Update Pure to 3.54 or later and Custom Shaders Patch, ideally to 0.3.0.
- If you've used other people's presets, reset Pure to its defaults.
- Go to C13 AEGIS's page on OverTake.gg, log in and download the file (about 2.3 MB).
- Copy its contents manually into your Assetto Corsa folder; don't install it by dragging it into Content Manager.
- Enable Pure LCS and choose the C13 AEGIS filter in the video settings.

Common problems
Does it work with Pure Gamma or Sol?
No. The mod page states it's for Pure LCS only.
How is it different from the Patreon version?
The Directors Cut is a trimmed-down version of AEGIS 3.07 with fewer options, without removing the core logic.
It doesn't look like the screenshots
Reset Pure to its defaults if you had applied other people's presets.
