What this mod does

Pure is Peter Boese’s graphics and weather mod for Assetto Corsa with Custom Shaders Patch. It replaces Sol, by the same author, and is now the most popular way to make the game look current.

What’s included

Requirements

Install first: Custom Shaders Patch (CSP) Content Manager

  • Up-to-date Custom Shaders Patch

  • Subscription on Patreon or Gumroad ($1.50/month)

How to install it

  1. Subscribe on Patreon or Gumroad and download the latest version.
  2. Copy the apps, content, extension and system folders into the Assetto Corsa root folder, overwriting.
  3. In Content Manager › Settings › Custom Shaders Patch › Weather FX, enable it and choose Pure.
  4. In the video settings, select one of Pure's post-processing filters.
  5. Start a session and set the time and weather with the Pure app.

Common problems

Is Pure free?

No. It's a subscription of $1.50 a month on Patreon or Gumroad.

Does it work with Assetto Corsa EVO or Competizione?

No. It's for the original Assetto Corsa with CSP.

It doesn't show up in Weather FX

Check that you copied all four folders into the game's root (where AssettoCorsa.exe is) and that CSP is up to date.

What happens if I cancel the subscription?

You keep the version you already downloaded, but you stop getting new ones.
