What this mod does

Exquisite is a post-processing filter (ppfilter) by zr0w, who also made REVOLUTION, which already has a page on Holymod and which the author himself considers abandoned. Exquisite is its successor and aims for a more vivid, realistic image without overdoing the colors. It has over 208,000 downloads and a 4.82 rating.

What it offers

  • Post-processing filter with settings for Pure and Sol.
  • Great results at night and on OLED screens, according to users.
  • Works on triple screens if you turn off the vignette.

Installation

Before installing a new version, delete the old Exquisite .ini files from the system/cfg/ppfilters folder and reset your Pure and Sol settings. Then copy the new files. The page doesn’t set minimum versions for CSP, Sol or Pure.

Tips and known issues

  • To remove the vignette, open the filter app, go to the vignette tab and set the intensity to 0; editing the .ini by hand can darken the whole image.
  • Some users notice a significant FPS drop.
  • Headlights can look very bright at night, which one user attributes to CSP.

The author offers early access on Patreon, but the OverTake version is free. He asks that questions be posted in the discussion tab.
