Assetto Corsa Rally PS5 and Xbox: is it coming to consoles?

Assetto Corsa Rally is PC-only (Steam, Early Access). What we know about PS5, PS4 and Xbox, where it's sold and what to play on console in the meantime.

Updated: 24 Oct 2026

Assetto Corsa Rally isn’t available on PS5, PS4 or Xbox as of October 2026. You can only play it on PC (Windows), in Early Access on Steam since November 13, 2025. The developers have said console versions will come later, but no date or platforms have been officially confirmed. If you want to drive an Assetto Corsa game on console today, your options are Assetto Corsa Competizione and the original Assetto Corsa.

Current status: PC only and in Early Access

Assetto Corsa Rally is developed by Supernova Games Studios together with KUNOS Simulazioni (the creators of Assetto Corsa) and published by 505 Games. It launched in Early Access on Steam on November 13, 2025, for 64-bit Windows 10/11 only. According to its Steam page, the goal is to release version 1.0 within 18 months of the start of Early Access, with more cars, more stages and the virtual reality support that wasn’t there at launch.

If you want to know what content it has right now, how it has evolved and what can be modded, check our guide to Assetto Corsa Rally. Here we focus on consoles and where it’s sold.

Will Assetto Corsa Rally come to PS5 and Xbox?

So far there are two kinds of statements, and it’s worth telling them apart:

  • Official statement (assettocorsa.gg, October 2025): in the announcement FAQ, the team said it was focused on the Steam launch and that console versions would be addressed later. That’s not a dated confirmation.
  • Statements from the game director: Irvin Zonca, game director at Supernova, said at the SimRacing Expo in October 2025 that they were already working on consoles and had internal builds running on them, although PC was the priority. This was reported by specialist outlets; it’s not a release announcement.

Since then, official news (updates, new cars, the VR support planned for late 2026) has focused on the PC version. There’s no game page on the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store, and no console release date. Any website giving you a specific date for PS5 or Xbox is speculating.

What about PS4 or Xbox One?

Very unlikely. The game uses Unreal Engine 5 along with Kunos physics, and if it comes to consoles, it would make sense for it to be on the current generation (PS5 and Xbox Series X|S). Neither Supernova nor 505 Games has mentioned PS4 or Xbox One, so don’t count on a version for them.

Where it’s sold and which edition to buy

Right now the only official way to play is to buy it on Steam, which is the store the official Assetto Corsa website links to. It’s a paid game with a single Early Access version: there’s no deluxe edition or season pass on sale. We don’t list prices because they change with sales, but keep in mind two things the official store page says:

  • The Early Access price will be different from the price of the final version.
  • The developers may raise the price during Early Access as content is added.

Buying now gives you access to all Early Access updates without paying again. What isn’t known is whether a future console version will share a purchase or progress with the PC version; nothing has been announced about that.

Before buying, check that your PC meets the requirements on the Steam page: it’s a more demanding game than the original Assetto Corsa. If you’re unsure about your PC, our guide to Assetto Corsa requirements will help you get your bearings with the classic game.

What to play on PS5 and Xbox in the meantime

If you only have a console and want something from the Assetto Corsa family, these are the real options:

Game On console What it offers
Assetto Corsa Competizione PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One Official GT simulation, very complete on circuits. It’s the most serious option on console.
Assetto Corsa (original) PS4 and Xbox One (also playable on PS5 and Xbox Series) A varied mix of road and race cars, no mods on console.
Assetto Corsa EVO PC only for now In Early Access; consoles will come later.
Assetto Corsa Rally PC only Rally on laser-scanned stages, in Early Access.

For more detail:

None of them is a rally game, though. If what you’re after is racing on dirt and stages with Kunos physics and you have a PC, there’s another free route: the original Assetto Corsa with rally mods. We explain it in our section on rally mods for Assetto Corsa, and for installing them, in the guide on how to install mods in Assetto Corsa.

How to find out if it comes to console

If a console version comes out, it will be announced on the official channels: the assettocorsa.gg website, the 505 Games page and the Assetto Corsa and Supernova Games social accounts. When pre-orders open, it will also appear on the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store. Be wary of videos and websites showing supposed PS5 versions that are already available: as of today, they don’t exist.

Frequently asked questions

Is Assetto Corsa Rally on PS5?

No. As of October 2026 it’s only on PC, in Early Access on Steam. The developers have said they’re working on consoles, but there’s no date or official PS5 release announcement.

Is there a release date for Xbox Series X|S?

No. There’s no date for any console. The only official word is that console versions would be addressed after the Steam launch, and the priority is still finishing version 1.0 on PC.

Will it come to PS4 or Xbox One?

It hasn’t been announced, and it’s unlikely given the technology it uses (Unreal Engine 5). If it comes to consoles, expect it to be on the current generation only.

How much does Assetto Corsa Rally cost?

It’s a paid game sold on Steam in a single Early Access version. We don’t give figures because they change with sales; check the Steam page. Keep in mind the developers warn that the price may go up during Early Access and that the final version will have a different price.

Can I play it on console with GeForce Now or similar?

Assetto Corsa Rally has no console version, so it can’t be installed on PlayStation or Xbox. If you use a cloud gaming service from another device, check that service’s website to see if the game is in its catalog before buying it.
