What this mod does
Okuibuki Motor Park is a curious place: in winter it’s a ski resort, and the rest of the year its huge parking lots turn into tracks for drifting, gymkhana and meetups. Formula Drift Japan, D1GP and JIDC have all been there. The 90’s Golden Drift Spot Project team, the same one behind Ebisu and Sunrise Circuit, recreates it for Assetto Corsa.
What’s included
- Several layouts, including the Formula Drift Japan, D1GP 2022 and JIDC ones.
- Parking lot 4, a classic drift and gymkhana area, and a full touge-style route.
- Since 2.0: more realistic textures, an extended mountain section, a ramp for drift jumps and a rebuilt skidpad.
- Night driving.
Who it’s for
It’s one of the best places in Assetto Corsa to learn to drift: there’s room to practice transitions on the skidpad and competition layouts for when you’re already linking corners. It’s rated 4.89 out of 5 on OverTake, and several players call it their favorite track.
Version
Version 2.0, from October 2022, is a big update over the 2019 version. There’s a barrier-free event variant that the team offers separately in exchange for a donation; the regular download is free.

Requirements

- About 330 MB of free space
- Free OverTake.gg account
- A drift-ready car (for example, the WDT packs)
How to install it
- Go to the Okuibuki Motor Park page on OverTake.gg and sign in.
- Download version 2.0 (about 322 MB).
- If you had the 2019 version, delete its folder in assettocorsa/content/tracks first.
- Drag the file into Content Manager or copy the folder into assettocorsa/content/tracks.
- Read the included readme: it explains the layouts and how to install it.
- Pick the Formula Drift, D1GP or JIDC layout and head out from the pits.

Some cars spawn in a weird spot at the start
One player reports this with 2.0; starting a practice session from the pits usually avoids it.
