What this mod does
Sunrise Circuit is a complex in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, that brings together several tracks used for gymkhana, time attack and, above all, drifting. Its best-known layout, the Tsukuruma Circuit, became famous outside Japan thanks to the videos of Alexi (Noriyaro) and his AE86. This mod by the 90’s Golden Drift Spot Project recreates it for Assetto Corsa, with Noriyaro himself contributing as a reference.
Layouts included
- Tsukuruma Circuit: asphalt, with six camera sets for replays and a time attack timer.
- Driving Palette Nasu: a simple asphalt track designed for beginners, with two camera sets and a timer.
- Sunrise Circuit freeroam: the whole complex for free driving.

Who it’s for
The layout is designed for people who are new to drifting, but it has corners tricky enough to challenge more experienced drivers too. If you’re looking for a place to practice transitions and linking corners without the pressure of a narrow touge, it’s one of the best starting points. The author warns that you need a recent version of Custom Shaders Patch.

Requirements
- Assetto Corsa for PC
- A recent version of Custom Shaders Patch (required according to the author)
- Content Manager recommended for installing
- Free OverTake.gg account to download
How to install it
- Update Custom Shaders Patch from Content Manager before installing the track.
- Go to the Sunrise Circuit page on OverTake.gg and log in.
- Download the file (about 85 MB).
- Drag the file into Content Manager and confirm the install.
- In Drive, pick Sunrise Circuit and select the layout: Tsukuruma Circuit, Driving Palette Nasu or the freeroam.
- Start on Driving Palette Nasu if you're learning and then move on to Tsukuruma.
Common problems
The track won't load or shows errors
The author requires a recent version of Custom Shaders Patch. Update it from Content Manager.
Which layout is the one from Noriyaro's videos?
The Tsukuruma Circuit.
Is it good for busy servers?
It has 90 pit boxes, although for tandem drifting it's best not to fill the track.
