What this mod does
Accessory Parts for SCS Trucks is a pack by Nimir-Raj with paintable parts and accessories for most SCS trucks in American Truck Simulator, plus some trailer parts. It has more than 90,000 subscribers.
What’s included
- Beacons, bull bars and door handles.
- Main and side mirrors, mud flaps and visors.
- Other accessories and some trailer parts.
- Paint templates in the page’s discussions.
Trucks
Versions 7 to 7.14 added parts for many trucks. They include the 2024 Freightliner Cascadia, the Mack Pinnacle, the Volvo VNLs, the Peterbilt 389 and 579, the Kenworth T680, the Western Star 49X and 57X and the International LT and 9900i.
Paint jobs
SCS paint jobs don’t work on the painted parts, because SCS didn’t make skins for mod parts. The author is considering moving some parts to the new accessory paint system so they can be painted a single color at the service shop.
Version and license
The latest version, from June 19, 2026, updates the definitions for 1.60 and drops support for versions before 1.50. The author releases his mods under a Creative Commons license; the terms are on his website, ijsmods.com.

Requirements
- American Truck Simulator 1.50 or later
- No DLC or other mods needed
How to install it
- Open the mod's page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe”.
- Wait for Steam to download it and launch American Truck Simulator.
- In the Mod Manager, enable Accessory Parts for SCS Trucks and confirm the changes.
- At the service shop, open the truck's accessories and look for the new parts.
- If you want to paint them, use the templates in the page's discussions.

Can I use SCS paint jobs on these parts?
No, the author explains that SCS didn't make skins for mod parts.
