What this mod does
Kenworth T700 is a truck by SgtRox for American Truck Simulator. Kenworth built it from 2011 to 2014: it replaced the T2000 and came before the T680, aiming to use less fuel, be more aerodynamic and give the driver more room. It has almost 38,000 subscribers.
What’s included
- Lots of chassis, interiors and accessories.
- Working cab suspension and better interior shadows.
- 18-speed Eaton Fuller gearboxes and Paccar or Cummins engines up to 600 hp.
- Stock Paccar sounds from ETS2; there are add-on mods for Kriechbaum’s Engine Mega Pack 4.2 and SlavJerry’s MX-13.
- You can change the cab flag or photo by replacing its .DDS files.
The author recommends it for any type of cargo, especially dry van and flatbed. The exterior is based on a model he bought from 3Dmodels.org.
Performance and issues
The exterior is heavy and can cause memory problems on modest PCs; the author advises raising the r_buffer_page_size value. One user says it crashes outside Windows and that their Truck Fixes mod fixes it.

How to install it
- Open the “Kenworth T700” page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe”.
- Launch American Truck Simulator and wait for Steam to finish the download.
- Open your profile's Mod Manager and enable the mod.
- Find the truck at the Kenworth dealer.
- If you have memory problems, raise the r_buffer_page_size value as the author suggests.
