What this mod does
Decorative light ribbon. Trucks Ats is a mod by Снеговик (Snegovik) that adds a decorative light strip to day cabs in American Truck Simulator. The author explains that it’s the same strip as the official one, adapted to day cabs, with new colors and without the background layer. It has almost 20,000 subscribers.
Trucks
Peterbilt 389 and 579; Kenworth W900, T680 and T680 2022; Mack Pinnacle and Anthem; International 9900i, LoneStar and LT; Volvo VNL, VNL 2018 and VNL 2025; Freightliner Cascadia 2019 and 2024; and Western Star 49X, 57X and 5700XE.
Colors and fitting
Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, light blue, purple, white, mixed and pink. It mounts on the roof beacon slot, in the beacons section of the service shop. It only works on day cabs.
Sleeper cabs
For those cabs there’s the official «Decorative Cab Lights Assortment» strip, which was a World of Trucks event reward and is sold on the Steam Community Market. According to the author, that one does work on TruckersMP because it isn’t a mod.
Multiplayer and version
It works on Convoy as an additional mod. The author recommends pairing it with his trailer light strip. He doesn’t list a game version; the latest update is from June 8, 2026. It’s about 12 MB.

Requirements

- Steam account to subscribe on the Workshop
- A compatible truck with a day cab (some are DLC)
How to install it
- Open the "Decorative light ribbon. Trucks Ats" page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
- Launch American Truck Simulator and wait for Steam to finish the download.
- Open your profile's Mod Manager and enable the mod.
- Go to a service shop with a day cab truck.
- Open the roof beacons section and pick the strip in the color you want.
Common problems
Does it work on sleeper cabs?
No: for those there's the official strip from the Steam Market.
Where does it go?
On the roof beacon slot, in the beacons section of the service shop.
Does it work in multiplayer?
On Convoy as an additional mod; not on TruckersMP.
