What this mod does
Real Tires Mod is Galimim’s tire mod for American Truck Simulator. It adds 114 front and 138 rear tires to the service shop from real manufacturers such as Goodyear, Michelin, Bridgestone, Yokohama, Continental, Dunlop, Fulda, Hankook and Pirelli. It has about 190,000 subscribers on Steam Workshop.
How it’s made
- The author took each tire’s data from the manufacturers’ official websites, by size.
- It’s the sister mod of his real tires addon for the 50k wheel pack, and it works with both the stock wheels and the wheels from that pack.
- Because of the differences between the US and Europe, it keeps the European tires and adds the 295/75 size with models sold only in the US.
- Front tire prices are for a set of two, and rear tire prices are for a set of four.
Version
The last update is from December 2, 2023, and the author doesn’t specify a game version. A player said in September 2026 that it works in 1.61. Other 2026 comments mention a tire that no longer fits properly in 1.60 and a crash in that version.
Before you install it
It’s 1.17 GB, so the first download takes a while. The author asks you to report bugs in the original SCS forum thread linked on the page.
