What this mod does
Freight Market Turnpike Doubles is another Punicron mod for American Truck Simulator. It adds turnpike doubles (two 45 ft trailers) and other variants to the freight market. In the base game they can only be used as owned trailers; with the mod you can haul them in cities without a garage and at a low level. It has over 8,000 subscribers.
What it adds
- Dry vans and flatbeds.
- Container carriers, also as Rocky Mountain doubles.
- Grain hoppers and fuel tankers as doubles, triples or Rocky Mountain doubles.
- Food tankers as doubles, triples, Rocky Mountain doubles and single 53 ft.
- Dump trailers and dry bulk silos as triples.
How to use it
On the cargo selection screen, click the gear icon and choose the combination. They show up randomly in quick jobs and World of Trucks external jobs, but only when both origin and destination have room for long trailers.
Version and limits
The author lists compatibility with 1.61; the file is from February 10, 2026. By default, the game limits turnpikes to Nevada, Utah, Colorado and Montana: for the rest of the map you need Triples & Doubles Unlocked, by the same author. There are patches for Cargo Market Rework and for Arnook’s containers (the latter only up to 1.53).

Requirements

- Optional: Triples & Doubles Unlocked, to use them outside Nevada, Utah, Colorado and Montana
How to install it
- Open the "Freight Market Turnpike Doubles" page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
- Launch American Truck Simulator and wait for Steam to download the mod (about 69 MB).
- In your profile's Mod Manager, enable "Freight Market Turnpike Doubles".
- On the freight market, click the gear icon on the selection screen and choose the long combination.
- If you want to use them in every state, also subscribe to Triples & Doubles Unlocked.

Common problems
Which states do they work in?
By default, Nevada, Utah, Colorado and Montana. With Triples & Doubles Unlocked, across the whole map.
Do I need a garage?
No. The mod puts them on the freight market, including in cities without a garage and at a low level.
Why don't they show up on every job?
They only appear if both origin and destination have yard space for long trailers.
