What this mod does
Freight Market B-Double Trailers is a mod by Punicron for American Truck Simulator. In the base game, B-doubles can only be used as owned trailers. With this mod they also appear on the freight market, so you can haul them without buying any. It has almost 12,000 subscribers on Steam Workshop.

How to use it
On the cargo selection screen, click the gear icon to pick the trailer options. The ones you choose show up randomly in quick jobs and World of Trucks external jobs. For hard parking, set g_simple_parking_doubles to 0 in your profile’s config.cfg.
Version and compatibility
The author lists compatibility with 1.61, although the file is from February 10, 2026. By default, B-doubles are limited to the northwestern states: to use them across the whole map, the author recommends Triples & Doubles Unlocked. There are patches for Lafayet47’s Cargo Market Rework and for Arnook’s containers, the latter only needed up to 1.53.

Requirements
- American Truck Simulator updated to 1.61

How to install it
- Open the "Freight Market B-Double Trailers" page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
- Launch American Truck Simulator and wait for the download to finish (about 140 MB).
- In your profile's Mod Manager, enable "Freight Market B-Double Trailers".
- On the freight market, click the gear icon on the selection screen and choose the B-double options.
- Optional: for hard parking with doubles, set g_simple_parking_doubles to 0 in your profile's config.cfg (Documents/American Truck Simulator/profiles).
