What this mod does
This mod brings the current-generation Land Rover Defender 110 (code L663, 2023 version) to American Truck Simulator as a drivable car. It’s one of Nimit’s cars with the most workshop options, stock or in expedition trim. He publishes it for free on his verified ModLand account, with credits to DN Modding, Nimit and Slav Jerry.
What’s included
- Very high-quality exterior and interior and a custom digital dash (the extra info only partly works, according to the author).
- Engine and gearbox tuned to approach the real 0 to 100, 0 to 200 and 0 to 250 km/h figures.
- Front windows that open, well-fitted wipers and animated stalks.
- Extensive customization: black or brown interior, four hoods, four side moldings, three roofs, three vents, three wheels, two grilles, pillars and a roof box.
- Adventure accessories: snorkel, toolbox and ladder.
How to get it
After enabling it in the Mod Manager, go to a truck dealer, enter the mod dealer and look for Land Rover. Then stop by the workshop.
Version
Version 2.1 is updated to 1.62, the ATS open beta as of November 2026; the author doesn’t confirm the stable 1.61. It was adapted to the Road Trip DLC and improves the physics, though the page doesn’t mark the DLC as required. The file is 159.96 MB. Nimit also publishes the ETS2 version.

Requirements
- American Truck Simulator on the 1.62 open beta (the author doesn't confirm 1.61)

How to install it
- Open the mod page on ModLand (Nimit's verified account) and click the download button.
- Download the file from Modsfire, the external host the page links to.
- If it comes compressed, extract the .scs file and copy it to Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod.
- Launch ATS, open the Mod Manager and enable the car.
- In your save, go to any truck dealer and enter the mod dealer.
- Pick Land Rover, buy the car and set it as your vehicle.
- Stop by the workshop to add a snorkel, roof box, ladder or other parts.

Does it work on 1.61?
The author only confirms the 1.62 open beta. It may fail on 1.61; back up your profile before trying it.
What can you customize?
Interior colors, hood, side moldings, roof, vents, wheels, pillars, roof box, snorkel and the toolbox-and-ladder set.
Some digital dash readings don't change
That's normal: the author says the dash's extra info only partly works.
