What this mod does
The Mazda MX-5 Miata NA is the small Japanese convertible from the nineties, with pop-up headlights. Nimit, together with Mert İrşi and Slav Jerry, also releases it for American Truck Simulator, and it’s one of his most configurable mods: you can keep it stock or build it your way at the dealer.
What’s included
- Quality exterior and interior, with realistic interior lighting.
- Working front windows, adjusted wipers and animations for the stalks, the parking brake and the hazard button.
- 1.6 engines with 90 and 113 hp, a tuned 1.6 and a 1.8, with a five-speed manual transmission.
- Four hoods (with air intakes, with pop-up headlights or with neither).
- Three bumpers, three wheel sets, two steering wheels, seats and shift knobs (stock and Mazdaspeed).
- Soft top or hardtop, two spoilers, two side skirts and optional rear fender flares.

Version
In July 2026 a user asked for the 1.60 update in the thread, and Nimit released the 1.61 one on September 5, 2026. On ModLand it’s version 2.4 and weighs about 72 MB.

Requirements
- American Truck Simulator updated to version 1.61
- Download from the author's thread on the official SCS forum (hosted on Modsfire)
- The author doesn't list any required DLC or other mods
How to install it
- Open the author's thread on the official SCS forum (American Truck Simulator mods section) and click the download link in the first post.
- Download the file from Modsfire, the host the author uses.
- If it's compressed, extract the .scs file and copy it to Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod.
- Open ATS, go to the Mod Manager and enable the car.
- In your save, go to any truck dealer and open the mod dealer section.
- Pick Mazda, buy the car and assign it as your vehicle.
