What this mod does
More Ford Engines & Drivetrains!, by Giant Cheese Wedge, adds engines, transmissions and chassis that really existed or are true to the era to the four cars of the Road Trip: Ford DLC. The author pitches it as a «lore friendly» alternative to tuning packs.
What’s included
- 2023 F-150: seven engines (2.7 and 3.5 EcoBoost, 3.0 Power Stroke diesel, 3.3 V6, 3.5 PowerBoost hybrid and the 700 hp 5.2 Carnivore V8), 10R80 transmission and 4×4 or 4×2 chassis with 30 or 36 gallon tanks.
- 1967 Mustang: six engines, from the 200 six-cylinder to the 428 Police Interceptor, with 3- and 4-speed manuals and C4 and C6 automatics.
- 2006 Crown Victoria: seven variants of the 4.6 V8, including the Marauder’s, with 4R70W and 4R75W police transmissions.
- 2024 Bronco: 2.3 EcoBoost and the Raptor’s 3.0 EcoBoost, 10R60 transmission and 7-speed Getrag manual.
Known issues
It conflicts with «Ford F-150 Custom Parts» according to several users, and one player reports that choosing a 4×2 chassis makes the headlights and front bumper disappear; the author is looking into it. The conflicts with «F150 Accessories» were fixed in the October 17, 2026 update by removing the body presets.
