What this mod does
Road Trip Zero Fuel Consumption, by Codeman91, removes fuel consumption from the four cars of the Road Trip: Ford DLC: 2024 Ford Bronco, 2023 Ford F-150, 1967 Ford Mustang and 2006 Ford Crown Victoria. It’s by the same author as the cab lights and cruise control mods for these cars.
How it works
- You enable it in the Mod Manager and there’s nothing to configure.
- It only works with the stock engines: the author confirms it conflicts with engine mods.
- Several users say it only took effect for them with realistic fuel consumption enabled in the gameplay options, and with other engine mods removed.
Feedback
Reports are mixed: for some it works on the F-150, while others still see the tank emptying on the F-150, the Bronco or the Crown Victoria, even with the stock engine. If it doesn’t work for you, try enabling realistic consumption and disabling any mod that touches the engines. One user has asked for support for the 1.62 beta; the page doesn’t state a game version.

How to install it
- Open the "Road Trip Zero Fuel Consumption" page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
- Launch American Truck Simulator and wait for Steam to finish downloading the mod.
- Go to the Mod Manager in your profile and enable "Road Trip Zero Fuel Consumption".
- Disable any mod that changes the Fords' engines and keep the stock engine.
- If it has no effect, enable realistic fuel consumption in Options > Gameplay and reload the profile.

Does it work with modded engines?
No, the author says only with stock ones.
Why am I still burning fuel?
Several users fixed it by enabling realistic consumption and removing engine mods.
Does it work in multiplayer?
