What this mod does
Ford F-150 Police Lights Road Trip: Ford, by ПИНАКОЛАДА, gives the DLC’s 2023 Ford F-150 Lariat the look of a police vehicle: it adds a red and blue LED light bar on the roof and flashers in the grille, with no siren sound. The light reflects on the road and surroundings in sync with the flashes, and works in first and third person.
Shop options
The three variants mount in the F-150’s roof slot:
- Police: White, with white headlight flashes.
- Police: Red/Blue, with red and blue headlight flashes.
- Police: No Head Flash, with no extra headlight flashes.
The lights turn on with whatever key you have assigned to the beacons.
Version and feedback
It’s version 0.9 and the author lists it as compatible with ATS 1.61. With over 3,000 subscribers, it’s the most popular police add-on for the F-150. Several users say the lights are big, sit a bit too far forward and are hard to see in daylight; they also say the page image doesn’t look like the result in game. It only works on the 2023 F-150 Lariat.

How to install it
- Open the "Ford F-150 Police Lights Road Trip: Ford" page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
- Launch American Truck Simulator and wait for Steam to finish downloading the mod.
- Go to the Mod Manager in your profile and enable "Ford F-150 Police Lights Road Trip: Ford".
- Take the 2023 F-150 Lariat to the shop and, in the roof slot, choose one of the three "Police" options.
- On the road, turn the lights on with the key assigned to the beacons.
Common problems
Does it have a siren?
No, lights only.
How do you turn them on?
With the beacon key; in the shop they show without pressing anything.
Does it work on the Bronco or the Mustang?
No, only on the 2023 F-150 Lariat.
