What this mod does
Ford Mustang 1967 – LIGHT ORANGE – OLDSCHOOL HEADLIGHTS, by KmizolGaming, gives the headlights of the 1967 Mustang Fastback from the Road Trip: Ford DLC a warm orange-yellow tone, inspired by the sealed-beam headlights of ’60s and ’70s cars. The stock car has white light; with this mod, night lighting looks more like a classic’s.
What changes and what doesn’t
- Only the color of the light changes.
- It doesn’t touch the projection, range or beam setup: you see just as far as before.
- It only affects the 1967 Mustang Fastback; the DLC’s other three Fords stay the same.
Version
It’s v1.0, published September 29, 2026, and the author lists it as compatible with game version 1.61.xx. It weighs 38 KB and has over 2,100 subscribers. The same author has a «DRL ON» variant with the daytime running lights in orange, which Steam shows on the page as a required item along with his seat adjustment mod; the description doesn’t require them for this one to work.
The mod is free; the author forbids reselling, modifying or reuploading it and asks to be credited.

How to install it
- Open the "Ford Mustang 1967 - LIGHT ORANGE – OLDSCHOOL HEADLIGHTS" page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
- Launch American Truck Simulator and wait for Steam to finish downloading the mod.
- Go to the Mod Manager in your profile and enable "Ford Mustang 1967 - LIGHT ORANGE – OLDSCHOOL HEADLIGHTS".
- Get in the 1967 Mustang, turn on the lights and you'll see the new amber tone.
