No Damage 1.61.x – 1.62.x Beta is a mod by 糖果 for American Truck Simulator that removes damage to the truck and trailers. It’s only 164 KB and has about 52,000 subscribers on Steam Workshop.
What the author says
- It removes truck and trailer damage so you can drive more relaxed.
- It’s compatible with 1.61.x and the 1.62 beta.
- The description is in English, Portuguese and Chinese, and says the same thing in all three languages.
It doesn’t mention cargo or fines, so check what happens to your cargo in your save before taking on long jobs.
Version
The last update is from October 20, 2026. Some comments from May and July said it didn’t work in 1.59 and 1.60; they predate that update. The author has an identical version for Euro Truck Simulator 2.
Before you use it
The author also advertises it for Convoy, SCS’s multiplayer mode, but on Holymod we list it only as a single-player mod: removing damage changes the difficulty and the economy of your save. Back up your profile before enabling it and, if you combine it with other physics or economy mods, enable them one at a time to see which one fails.

Requirements
- American Truck Simulator updated to 1.61
- No DLC or other mods needed
How to install it
- Back up your profile first.
- Open the "No Damage 1.61.x - 1.62.x Beta" page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
- Launch American Truck Simulator and wait for Steam to finish the download.
- Open the Mod Manager in your profile, enable the mod and confirm the changes.
- Load your save and check that the truck no longer takes damage.
