What this mod does
Placas_MxM_IShisui is an accessory for your truck in American Truck Simulator that adds a moving license plate holder and plates from all 32 federal entities of Mexico. iShisui MxM released it in July 2026, and it already has more than 1,000 subscribers on the Workshop.
What’s included
- Plates for every state: Aguascalientes, Baja California, Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Jalisco, Nuevo León, Sonora, Veracruz, Yucatán, Zacatecas and the rest.
- Also the Mexico City plate.
- The plate holder moves with the truck instead of staying rigid.
- The plate text is fixed: it shows the author’s name, not a plate number you can choose.
How it fits in
It’s a part for your own truck, not a traffic change. If you want real plates on AI vehicles, Real World Plates does that. To drive through the states whose plates you’re carrying, you need a map like Reforma.
Version and open questions
The author doesn’t list a game version or which trucks it fits. In the comments, a player asks whether it works on the Ford F-150, with no answer yet. There’s only one version, from July 2026, the ATS 1.60 era.

No, it's an accessory for your truck. For traffic, there's Real World Plates.
Can I type my own plate number?
No: according to the author, the plate text is fixed.
