What this mod does

Police Crown Vic Interior, by KingCustoms, turns the cabin of the Crown Victoria 2006 from the Road Trip: Ford DLC into that of a patrol car.

What’s included

  • Police mobile data terminal (MDT) on a new center console, to which the author later added a laptop.
  • Shotgun in a holster or on a roof mount.
  • Partition separating the officer from the detainee.
  • Custom jobs: transport a fugitive from one place to another.

According to the author, everything is standalone and doesn’t overwrite any game models.

To complete the patrol car

The author recommends combining it with Crown Vic Pack, which adds police paint jobs, light bars and a push bumper, and with Purity Control’s Whelen Cencom sirens. He also suggests a third mod that I haven’t reviewed.

Version and issues

It was released on October 7, 2026, and has had five updates. Several users complained about overly strong reflections on the windows; the author fixed them on October 17 and promises more content. One user says the laptop is large and clips through the armrest. It weighs about 335 MB.

How to install it

  1. Open the "Police Crown Vic Interior" page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
  2. Launch American Truck Simulator and wait for Steam to finish downloading the mod.
  3. Open the Mod Manager in your profile and enable "Police Crown Vic Interior".
  4. If you want the full patrol car, also subscribe to Crown Vic Pack and the Whelen Cencom sirens.
  5. At the service shop, pick the police interior for the Crown Victoria.
  6. Look for the fugitive transport jobs in Road Trip mode.
