What this mod does

The 2017 Subaru Impreza WRX STI is the all-wheel-drive Japanese sports sedan you see all over the United States. Nimit turns it into a car you buy and drive in American Truck Simulator, nimble enough to leave the truck parked and take a spin between deliveries. He publishes it for free on his verified ModLand account, with credits to Nimit, İsmail Kaan, Slav Jerry and VakkoTeam.

What the author says

The ModLand page is brief: the changelog only says that version 3.9 of the mod is updated to game version 1.61, with no details on equipment or options. The file is 50.78 MB and has 141 downloads on ModLand. Nimit asks that the link not be changed and the file not be re-uploaded.

Driving tip

The car has a manual gearbox, but the game may try to shift on its own. The author recommends switching to manual mode to drive it properly.

How to get it

Like the rest of Nimit’s cars, you buy it at the mod dealer entrance of any truck dealer (that’s what the author says for his other cars). Look for the Subaru brand.

Version and known issues

Nimit confirms 1.61 in the title and the changelog (the ModLand listing shows 1.60.x). He also publishes the ETS2 version on the same account.

Common problems

Where do you buy it?

At the mod dealer entrance of any truck dealer; look for the Subaru brand.

ModLand says 1.60.x, does it work on 1.61?

Yes: the author's title and changelog say 1.61; the listing's tag just isn't up to date.

The car shifts gears on its own

Even though it's a manual, it may try to shift automatically. Set the transmission to manual mode in the game options.
