What this mod does
Volvo VNL 2018 Interior Add-ons is a mod by Sherman for the Volvo VNL 2018 in American Truck Simulator. It adds classic interiors in brown and dark tones to the 860 cabs, plus color parts for the chosen interiors. It has over 25,000 subscribers.

In the May 25, 2026 update, the author replaced the engine sounds with higher-quality ones and matched each sound to its brand.
Version
The description says it’s compatible with 1.51 to 1.61. In October 2025 the author said he saw no problems on 1.56.
Known issues
If the game crashes, the author asks you to check compatibility with your other mods. In the comments, one user says the game crashed on loading until they moved the mod to the bottom of the list, and another, in September 2026, says it crashes when viewing the truck; the author hasn’t replied yet. If it happens to you, check your game.log with Holyfix. It’s about 56 MB and only published on Steam Workshop: the author takes no responsibility for copies on other sites.

How to install it
- Open the “Volvo VNL 2018 Interior Add-ons” page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe”.
- Launch American Truck Simulator and wait for Steam to finish the download.
- Open your profile's Mod Manager and enable the mod.
- Take your Volvo VNL 2018 with the 860 cab to a service shop and pick one of the new interiors.
