What this mod does
Dirty 4×4 Offroad is a trail map based on a real track the author knows well, the one in Naches: a loop full of mud where the goal is to make it through without getting stuck. It’s a map for enjoying 4×4 driving at a slow, technical pace.
What’s included
- Dirt and mud trails with jumps, dips and deep rutted mud pits.
- Steep climbs and rock sections.
- Challenge Island, a tough area separate from the rest.
- Bypasses to avoid the hardest sections.
- Rain with sound and several spawn points.
- A «twister» style obstacle and a new island added in the updates.
Who it’s for
It suits built off-roaders, trucks with lockers and anyone who loves mud. The author makes it clear that it’s a trail map and asks people not to request making it easier or harder: the fun is in the challenge it sets.
Version notes
Version 1.7, from February 23, 2024, was the first update in two years: it redid the terrain and rocks, fixed a spawn bug and made Challenge Island harder. The mod page doesn’t list a game version; at that date the current one was 0.31. It hasn’t had any changes since.

How to install it
- Open the Dirty 4x4 Offroad page on the official BeamNG Repository.
- Click Download to get the .zip, or subscribe from the in-game Repository.
- If you download it manually, copy the .zip (don't unzip it) into the mods folder in your user folder (from the launcher: Manage User Folder > Open in Explorer).
- Launch the game, check in the Mod Manager that it's enabled and pick Dirty 4x4 Offroad from the map list.
