What this mod does
East Coast Beam Life Rework is an edit of the official East Coast USA map made for a roleplay server called Beam Life. It keeps the base of the familiar map but adds areas, businesses and tracks designed for spending hours living town life, racing or off-roading.
What’s included
- A figure-eight track and 1/4- and 1/8-mile drag strips.
- A truck pull track, a drift course and a race track.
- Off-road trails, mud pits and a mud park.
- Town expansions, custom shops, businesses and an exhaust shop.
- A military base, a big port, an industrial area, a hospital and dynamic lights.
Who it’s for
It’s for anyone who knows East Coast by heart and wants more to do there, especially if you roleplay with friends. Many players say it feels more realistic than the original map.
Version notes
V1.6, from September 25, 2026, adds barriers, shops, the mud park and a new area outside town, and fixes more areas with missing meshes. V1.4.1 in August was the fix for 0.39. Heads-up: the author releases updates on Patreon first, and in August he admitted that some purple areas with missing meshes were only fixed there.

Requirements

- About 235 MB of free space for the .zip file
How to install it
- Open the East Coast Beam Life Rework page on the official BeamNG Repository.
- Click Download to get the .zip, or subscribe from the in-game Repository.
- If you download it manually, copy the .zip (don't unzip it) into the mods folder in your user folder (from the launcher: Manage User Folder > Open in Explorer).
- Launch the game, check in the Mod Manager that it's enabled and pick the map from the Freeroam list.
- If you see purple or untextured areas, delete older versions and clear the cache.

Common problems
Does it replace the official East Coast USA?
No, it's a separate map based on the official one.
Why do I see purple areas with no mesh?
It's a known bug; in August 2026 the author said it was fixed in the Patreon version, and V1.6 fixes more areas.
Do I have to pay?
No, the Repository version is free; the author offers weekly updates on Patreon.
