What this mod does
Russian Roads NP recreates rural Russian roads in terrible condition amid beautifully crafted nature. It’s a 2017 map that its author rescued in 2026 by adapting the 2018 version to the current game, and the community welcomed it with excellent ratings.
What’s included
- Nine kilometers of roads with very varied surfaces, potholes and broken sections.
- A village, a quarry and several businesses and farms.
- Off-road trails, a river with logs to cross and a rally stage.
- Since March 2026, a foggy sky, a backdrop made of 3D objects, more grass and roads open to traffic.
Who it’s for
It’s perfect for driving classic Soviet cars or any regular car and feeling every pothole, and also for light off-roading. Playing on Ultra takes a powerful PC: the author recommends lowering vegetation density if your FPS is low.
Version notes
On March 2, 2026 the author released the 2018 version fixed «for v. 0.38», and on March 26 he added the fog and traffic. Creators: Artyom Cheremisov, with Yuri Barinov as co-author and most models by Denis Loginovsky. The author asks that, if you share it, you link to the original mod page.

How to install it
- Open the Russian Roads NP page on the official BeamNG Repository.
- Click Download to get the .zip, or subscribe from the in-game Repository.
- If you download it manually, copy the .zip (don't unzip it) into the mods folder in your user folder (from the launcher: Manage User Folder > Open in Explorer).
- Launch the game, check in the Mod Manager that it's enabled and pick Russian Roads NP from the map list.
- If your FPS is low, reduce vegetation density in the graphics options.

Common problems
Which version of the map is this?
It's the original 2018 version adapted to the current game; the author mentions that other REDUX versions exist.
Does it have traffic?
Yes, the March 26, 2026 update opened the roads to traffic.
It runs slowly, what do I do?
The author recommends lowering vegetation density; he gets 30-50 FPS at 4K with an i5 12400F, 16 GB of RAM and an RX 6650 XT.
