What this mod does
Off-Road Trials by Hendrixx is a trial map for off-roaders: one extremely long route with all kinds of obstacles that tests both the vehicle and the driver’s patience. Players describe it as a real challenge, and nearly every review gives it five stars.
What’s included
- A long route with lots of different obstacles, from climbs and descents to building areas.
- Extended routes and optional routes for less capable vehicles.
- A gas station for refueling halfway through.
- Fire and waterfall effects, plus a full-loop scenario.
Who it’s for
It’s designed for trial trucks and off-roaders with lockers and good articulation. If you’re after a long, varied challenge instead of an open map to cruise around, it’s one of the best on the Repository. One player says the warehouse area is a bit confusing and asks for more signs.
Version notes
Version 1.0.2, from February 17, 2026, is a big cleanup with which the author says he brought the level up to date: tidied-up asset code and fewer console messages. The mod page doesn’t list a game version; at that date the current one was 0.38. The last big content expansion dates from 2021.

How to install it
- Open the Off-Road Trials by Hendrixx page on the official BeamNG Repository.
- Click Download to get the .zip, or subscribe from the in-game Repository.
- If you download it manually, copy the .zip (don't unzip it) into the mods folder in your user folder (from the launcher: Manage User Folder > Open in Explorer).
- Launch the game, check in the Mod Manager that it's enabled and pick the map from the Freeroam list.
- If your vehicle isn't very capable, take the optional routes.
