What this mod does
Driver’s Long Travel Grand Marshal, by DriverTech, transforms the Gavril Grand Marshal, the game’s classic sedan, into a desert racing machine. Its tagline sums it up: a boring sedan turned into a dune eater.
What’s included
- Its own long travel chassis.
- I-beam front suspension with 22 inches of travel and a four-link rear with 20 inches.
- Two custom automatic transmissions, with stock or custom gearing and a manual valve body.
- Off-road tires for 15×7 wheels, from 30 to 37 inches, with support for 5- and 6-lug wheels.
- Body cutouts to fit 37s and spare tire carriers.
- Three tuned configs and compatibility with bodies from other mods.
- A limo version with its own chassis and interior and up to five feet of travel in the rear.
Compatibility
It requires the Driver’s I-Beam Kit mod by the same author, because it shares the front suspension textures with it; without it you’ll see untextured parts. Version 6.0, from September 14, 2026, adds the limo. It’s still in Beta, and the mod page doesn’t mention Career mode or multiplayer.
Tips
It’s tuned for trails like Johnson Valley and other deserts. One user recommends also installing the author’s D-Series parts to avoid texture issues.

How to install it
- Open the Driver's Long Travel Grand Marshal page on the official BeamNG Repository.
- Click Download to get the .zip, or subscribe from the in-game Repository (Subscribe button).
- Also install Driver's I-Beam Kit from the official Repository.
- If you download it manually, copy the .zip, without unzipping it, into the mods folder inside your BeamNG.drive user folder.
- Launch the game and check in the Mod Manager that it's enabled.
- Open the vehicle selector, go to the Gavril Grand Marshal and pick one of the long travel configs or the limo.

Common problems
Why is the front suspension untextured?
You're missing the Driver's I-Beam Kit mod, which is required because it shares those textures.
Where should I try it?
It's tuned for desert trails like Johnson Valley.
Does it work with other bodies?
The regular chassis accepts bodies from other mods; the limo has no cutouts, but the author says other bodies should work.
