What this mod does
Rotary Engines for the Ibishu BX adds three realism-focused rotary engines to the Ibishu 200BX in BeamNG.drive: the two-rotor 13B (1.3 L), the three-rotor 20B (2.0 L) and the four-rotor 26B (2.6 L). Like the stock engines, they start naturally aspirated and are upgraded piece by piece. It is by leoncon99 and was released on the official repository on November 2, 2026.
What’s included
- Stock, sport, race or turbo intakes (Stage 1 sequential twin turbos and Stage 2/3 variable-boost turbos).
- Long blocks from stock up to heavy-duty rotors for high boost, and street, bridge-port or peripheral-port housings that move the powerband up and raise the idle.
- Adjustable race ECU with rev limiter and launch control; oil coolers and sport radiators.
- Sound recorded in Engine Simulator (by AngeTheGreat) up to 11,500 rpm, changing with exhausts, intakes and turbos.
- New 12,000 rpm gauge cluster with night illumination and custom 3D models for every engine.
- 11 ready-made configs, from a 225 hp street 13B to a four-rotor drag car with almost 1,400 hp.
Compatibility
The author gives no BeamNG.drive version or dependencies; the file is 20 MB. He warns that a turbo on the stock long block will not last: the damage model breaks it.
