What this mod does
Apple Maps Navigation (Base), by Lism, gives the GPS and world map in Euro Truck Simulator 2 icons inspired by Apple Maps. This is the base: colors and backgrounds stay the same as in the game until you add one of its color modules. It has over 89,000 subscribers. The author also publishes a version for ATS.
Color modules
There are four, downloaded separately: light or dark mode, each with the stock background or a green background. Enable only one; if you enable several, the one with the highest priority wins.
Compatibility
- Compatible with 1.59 or later and with all map DLCs.
- Designed for ProMods, RusMap and big map combos, which need a compatible map background mod.
- For incompatible maps, such as Grand Utopia, the author offers his SCS Map Data Splitter tool.
- Trucks: Eugene’s Scania Next Generation P G R S Pack, Sanax’s Volvo FH2022 and any truck that uses the game’s GPS screens.
Load order
From top to bottom: the color module, the map background, this base, modded trucks and modded maps. It must go above other dashboard or navigation mods.
Multiplayer
It’s optional on Convoy and doesn’t work on TruckersMP. The Siri voice is no longer included: it’s a separate mod.

How to install it
- Open the "Apple Maps Navigation (Base)" page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
- Wait for Steam to finish downloading.
- Launch ETS2, open the Mod Manager and enable the mod.
- If you want colors, subscribe to just one of the author's color modules.
- Order them like this, top to bottom: color module, map background, the base, modded trucks and modded maps.
- Load your save and open the GPS or the world map.
Common problems
The colors don't change
The base only changes the icons; colors come in a separate module.
I have several modules enabled
Keep just one: if there are several, the highest-priority one wins.
Does it work on TruckersMP?
No; on Convoy it's optional.
Does it include the Siri voice?
Not anymore: it's a separate mod by another author.
