What this mod does
The SKSBUS e138i is a long-distance coach built in Malaysia that author \g (ridh) turned into a drivable bus for Euro Truck Simulator 2. It’s the big brother of the same author’s SKSBUS E5, which already has its own page on Holymod, and one of the few Asian coaches you can buy and drive in the game.
What’s included
- Three body configurations and two chassis: 6×2 and 4×2.
- Light accessories, spotlights and interior lighting added in the October 2021 updates.
- Kriechbaum’s DC13 engine sound and Darkbullseye’s horn, both credited by the author.
- A template for your own paint jobs and the mod files in a Google Drive folder linked by the author.
Game version
The author doesn’t state a version. The file was last updated on July 28, 2024, around the time of 1.50, and in November 2025 a player confirmed it loads on 1.57, although the mirrors in the F2 view are swapped (the left mirror’s image shows up on the right). In July 2025 the author said they’ll update it once the Coaches DLC comes out.
DLC
The Steam page lists the Coaches DLC as required, but that DLC isn’t on sale yet and the mod was released years earlier, so today it works without it.

How to install it
- Open the mod's page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
- Wait for Steam to finish downloading.
- Open ETS2 and go to your profile's Mod Manager.
- Enable "Bas Malaysia SKSBUS e138i" and confirm the changes.
- Load your save and find the coach at the dealer to buy it; choose body, chassis and light accessories in the configuration.

Common problems
Does it work on 1.61?
The author doesn't say; the last update is from July 2024 and a player used it on 1.57 with the mirrors swapped.
Does it need the Coaches DLC?
No: the page lists it, but that DLC doesn't exist yet and the mod was released before it.
