What this mod does
Brazilian Day/Night Cycle is a mod by Faker that changes the sun cycle in Euro Truck Simulator 2. The game is set in Europe, so in summer it gets dark around 22:00 and in winter the days are very short. This mod splits day and night evenly all year round, like in Brazil, and it’s designed for extra immersion on Brazilian maps.
What it changes
- The sun rises around 06:00.
- The sky starts getting dark around 18:00.
- About 12 hours of daylight and 12 of night all year round.
- Disables the European daylight saving time that pushes back nightfall.
Compatibility
It was developed for ETS2 1.59.x. It works with any map, stock or modded; the author mentions EAA, Rotas do Brasil and Eldorado. You can enable or disable it whenever you want with no risk to your save.
Load order and conflicts
Place it above map and graphics mods in the Mod Manager. It may conflict with other weather or graphics mods that also change the sun cycle, like Brutal Weather or Project Next-Gen.
It’s under 70 KB and doesn’t require any DLC.
