What this mod does
HN Immersive Symbols Extreme, by Habdorn, removes the most immersion-breaking symbols from the game world and replaces them with things that fit on a real road. It’s a lightweight mod, under 4 MB, with more than 171,000 subscribers.
What it changes
- Garage, company and similar icons become a large box with an invisible material: they’re still there so the GPS can find them, but you can’t see them.
- The loading and unloading symbol is replaced with traffic cones. The rear ones have a reflective strip that turns green when the trailer is parked correctly.
- End-of-road barriers are replaced with invisible models.
Version
The author doesn’t state a game version, and the last update is from January 1, 2025, so it hasn’t been touched in almost two years. In the comments, users are asking about 1.61. Try it on a secondary profile before using it on your main save.
