International Traffic Pack for Euro Truck Simulator 2
Gives ETS2 traffic foreign license plates with per-country ratios inspired by real traffic: cars, trucks, buses and caravans from other countries. Vanilla Edition 1.4, tested on ETS2 1.59.

What this mod does
On European highways, not all traffic carries local plates. International Traffic Pack, by Elitesquad Modz, brings that mix to ETS2. Vanilla Edition 1.4 is tested on ETS2 1.59, and the SCS forum thread was last edited on May 18, 2026.
What it changes
- AI cars, trucks, buses, vans, motorhomes and caravans with foreign plates in every country of the base map and the map DLCs.
- Ratios by country and vehicle type designed to mimic real traffic, with a small chance of seeing plates from any country.
- Foreign vehicles also appear parked and keep the steering wheel on their country’s side.
- It only uses in-game vehicles and some of the game’s trailers.
Add-ons
There’s an add-on for JAD’s AI Truck Traffic Pack, which gives home-country plates to more than 60 real-company combos (it requires version 1.2 of that pack), and another for Jazzycat’s AI Traffic Pack (version 21.8).
Compatibility
According to the author, it works with any map that uses the base game countries; a ProMods edition has been announced but not released. Mods that add lots of AI vehicles reduce the share of foreign traffic. In the thread, people mention that too many Turkish trucks show up in Bulgaria.

Requirements
- Euro Truck Simulator 2 (tested by the author on 1.59)
- For the JAD add-on: AI Truck Traffic Pack by JAD 1.2
- For the Jazzycat add-on: AI Traffic Pack by Jazzycat 21.8
How to install it
- Open Elitesquad Modz's thread on the SCS forum.
- Subscribe on Steam Workshop or download Vanilla Edition 1.4 from the ShareMods link in the thread.
- If you get it from ShareMods, copy the .scs to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- If you use JAD's or Jazzycat's pack, also download its add-on (Jazzycat's comes as a .rar and must be extracted).
- Enable it in the Mod Manager and start your game.

Common problems
Does it add new vehicles?
No. It uses the game's vehicles and gives them plates from other countries with realistic ratios.
Does it work with ProMods?
Not yet. The author has announced a ProMods edition; the current one works on maps that use the base game countries.
Why do I see so little foreign traffic?
Mods that add lots of AI vehicles reduce the share of foreign traffic.
Does it work on 1.61?
The author has tested it on 1.59; the first post doesn't mention later versions.
