What this mod does
ETS2’s stock buses repeat a lot in towns and on the road. If you’ve installed a bus pack for traffic, this mod by Kass makes sure you actually see it: it removes SCS buses from AI traffic and leaves all the room to yours.
What it does
- Removes the default buses from the AI vehicle list.
- Buses from your packs show up more often.
- It only touches configuration: it doesn’t add models or weigh on performance, according to the author.
What to use it with
It pairs well with the Bus Traffic Pack by Jazzycat or any other AI bus pack. Without one installed, you’ll simply see fewer buses. Kass maintains the same idea for trucks (No Default SCS Trucks), cars (No Default SCS Cars) and trailers (Clean Traffic), and you can combine them. Kass also publishes it in his thread on the SCS forum and on his website, Brutal Universe.
Version
1.3 (September 18, 2026) is the one for ETS2 1.61; the page keeps the versions for 1.58, 1.59 and 1.60.

How to install it
- Open the mod's page on TruckyMods (Kass's verified account).
- Download version 1.3 or the one that matches your game version.
- Copy the file to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Enable it in the Mod Manager along with your AI bus pack.
- Load your save; traffic will refresh gradually as you drive.

Common problems
Do all buses disappear?
Only the SCS ones. If you don't have an AI bus pack, you'll see fewer buses.
Can I use it with Kass's other variants?
Yes, each one removes a different vehicle type (trucks, cars, trailers).
Does it work on 1.61?
