What this mod does
Niedersachsenmap is SNmaper’s map recreating Lower Saxony, in northern Germany, at 1:3 scale. It’s a standalone map: it doesn’t use the SCS map or need any other maps, and you start it on a new profile. The author built the whole thing on his own and has been updating it since 2019; his thread has around 56,000 views.
What’s new in 3.6
- Herrenhausen finished, with two new industrial areas and sections of the A7.
- More detail and roads across the whole map.
- Ambient sounds throughout the entire map.
- Fixes to the map view and road signs.
- A somewhat simplified level and payment system.
- The real companies mod the author used to include has been removed.
Requirements
It only needs three DLC: Scandinavia, Vive la France! and Italia, far fewer than other standalone maps. The thread title states compatibility with 1.58 and later, although the author doesn’t confirm 1.60 or 1.61 in writing. There’s an official video tutorial to get started on the map and a Discord server for questions.

How to install it
- Open SNmaper's official thread on the SCS forum.
- Download Niedersachsenmap_3.6.scs from the author's link.

- Don't enable any other maps on that profile.

Do I need the SCS map or ProMods?
No. It's a standalone map; the author explains that it works without map mods or the original map.
Which DLC do I need?
Only Scandinavia, Vive la France! and Italia.
Does it work on 1.61?
The thread tags it as 1.58+. The author doesn't specifically mention 1.60 or 1.61.
What scale is it?
