What this mod does
Projekt Polskie Drogi (formerly «Dolnośląskie») recreates southwestern Poland at 1:5 scale, much closer to reality than the SCS map. It’s made by a team led by Iwus, with Adam J, DamianSVW and Jakubek1993, and has been in development for about two years. The stable version is 1.36 for ETS2 1.60.
Where you drive
- More than twenty towns in Lower Silesia and Opole: Wrocław, Legnica, Bolesławiec, Wałbrzych, Świdnica, Kłodzko, Kudowa-Zdrój, Jelenia Góra, Zgorzelec and Opole, among others.
- Sections of the A4, DK3, DK34 and DW381.
- Realistic companies with their own parking areas, a 1:5 time scale and pedestrians who use the crosswalks.
- Custom models, such as Biedronka and Leroy Merlin stores made by Adam J.
Installation and requirements
It’s played in a separate module, so a dedicated profile is a good idea. You need all ten map DLC. The team asks you to edit config.cfg and raise r_buffer_page_size from 10 to 50 to avoid memory issues; there’s a video tutorial linked in the thread.
Beta version
Besides 1.36, there’s a 0.6 beta for 1.60 with more roads and four new cities (Opole, Jelenia Góra, Zgorzelec and Nowa Ruda), although the team warns it may have unfinished areas.

Requirements

How to install it
- Open the official thread on the SCS forum and download Projekt Polskie Drogi 1.36 (MediaFire).
- Unzip it and copy the map files into Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Open Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/config.cfg, find uset r_buffer_page_size and change 10 to 50.
- Create a new profile, enable the mod and select the map's module.
- If you want to try the new content, download the 0.6 beta (Modsfire), keeping in mind it has unfinished areas.

Common problems
Do I need ProMods?
No. It's a standalone map played in its own module.
Why do I have to edit config.cfg?
The team recommends raising r_buffer_page_size to 50 so the game has enough memory.
What's the difference between 1.36 and the 0.6 beta?
1.36 is the stable version; the beta adds roads and four cities, but may have incomplete areas.
Does it work on 1.61?
The released versions are for 1.60; there's no 1.61 version in the thread yet.
