What this mod does
Real Poland 1:1 recreates the area around Warsaw at real scale: one kilometer in the game is one kilometer in real life. It’s developed by a small team led by Jakiś_Bartuś, and its thread on the SCS forum has around 300,000 views.
What it offers
- Highly detailed Polish terrain that’s true to the real thing.
- Roads with realistic widths and intersections.
- Companies with their real names.
- Crosswalks with pedestrians and custom 3D models.
How you play it
It’s a standalone module: the team warns it isn’t compatible with the SCS map or with ProMods, so you play it on a separate profile. Even so, it requires every map DLC, from Going East! to Nordic Horizons. There’s also a Real Poland x RPM connector, published on the RPM website, to link it with the RPM Rhineland-Palatinate map.
Version
The latest version, 0.02.4, is for ETS2 1.56. The thread was last edited in April 2026 without a version change, so to play it without surprises you’re best off using the 1.56 branch from Steam betas. The thread also keeps versions for 1.49 through 1.54.
Known issues
Grass edges look messy; according to the team, it’s a limitation of the game engine.

Requirements
- Euro Truck Simulator 2 1.56
- Every map DLC: Going East!, Scandinavia, Vive la France!, Italia, Beyond the Baltic Sea, Road to the Black Sea, Iberia, West Balkans, Greece and Nordic Horizons
- A separate profile (it doesn't mix with the SCS map or ProMods)
How to install it
- In Steam, switch to the 1.56 branch under Properties > Betas if you're on a newer version.
- Open the official Real Poland 1:1 thread on the SCS forum and download realpoland.rar (v0.02.4).
- Extract the archive and copy its contents to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Sort the files in the Mod Manager as shown in the thread's load order image.
- Create a new profile and pick the Real Poland map module.

Common problems
Does it work with ProMods or the regular map?
No. It's a standalone module and the team says it isn't compatible with the SCS map or ProMods.
Does it work on 1.61?
The latest released version is for 1.56; the author doesn't state compatibility with later versions.
Can it be connected to another map?
There's a Real Poland x RPM connector to combine it with the RPM map.
