What this mod does
SFIGC stands for Shetland, Faroe, Greenland and Canada: a ProMods add-on that takes ETS2 to North Atlantic islands no DLC covers. It was created by ciezarowkarz and is now maintained by hi sora, with permission to fix it and republish it. It has passed 57,000 downloads on TruckyMods.
What it adds
- Shetland: nine towns, including Lerwick, Grutness, Brae, Toft and Ulsta.
- Faroe Islands: ten villages, such as Skopun, Hvalba, Vágur or Sumba.
- Greenland: Nanortalik, Tasiilaq, Kulusuk and Ittoqqortoormiit, among others.
- Canada: Iqaluit and Apex, in Nunavut.
Version and requirements
The latest version, 0.6-1.58 (February 23, 2026), is for ETS2 1.58 with ProMods 2.81. You need ProMods and the map DLCs it requires. It hasn’t been announced for 1.61: you’ll have to wait for an update or play on the 1.58 branch. Since 0.6.1, a crash that happened when using it with Poland Rebuilding has been fixed.
Known issues
The author acknowledges that Canada still doesn’t display properly on the map and that some country name translations are missing. It’s a map of short routes, ferries and remote landscapes, very different from central Europe; if you like exotic destinations, also check out Horn of Africa.

Requirements

How to install it
- Install ProMods 2.81 from promods.net.
- Go to the SFIGC page on TruckyMods (hi sora's verified account).
- Download version 0.6-1.58.
- Copy the file to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- In the Mod Manager, place it above ProMods.
- Load your ProMods profile and look for the islands in the North Atlantic.

Common problems
Do I need ProMods?
Yes. It's a ProMods add-on and doesn't work with the SCS map alone.
Does it work on 1.61?
The latest released version is for 1.58 with ProMods 2.81.
Is it a stolen mod?
No. The original author is ciezarowkarz and hi sora says he has permission to fix it and republish it.
Why can't I see Canada on the map?
It's a known issue the author hasn't fixed yet.
