What this mod does
Pasajeros en Ruta Lite is a traffic mod made in Mexico: it adds buses, vans and cargo vehicles with paint jobs inspired by the big Mexican passenger and parcel lines, so the roads of Euro Truck Simulator 2 look a bit more like the ones back home. It’s the free (Lite) version of the full mod that its author, Whitebell, sells in their store.
What it adds to traffic
- Passenger transport: Neoplan Tourliner with 15 paint jobs, Temsa Opalin with 3 and Volkswagen Crafter with 3.
- Cargo vehicles: Ford Transit (2 paint jobs), Isuzu NPR, Scania R 2009 4×2, Fiat Ducato van, Chevy City and Volkswagen Crafter (1 paint job each).
Game version
The author doesn’t state a version. It was released on July 23, 2025, around the time of 1.55, and hasn’t been updated since. Traffic mods usually hold up across several versions, but if the game complains, Holyfix will tell you when it analyzes your log.
Things to keep in mind
These are traffic-only vehicles: you can’t buy or drive them. Several players are asking for an American Truck Simulator version, where the Mexican vibe would fit better; the author replies that they can’t manage to upload it to that game and will publish it as soon as they can. The full mod, with more vehicles and paint jobs, is sold outside Steam.

How to install it
- Open the mod's page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
- Wait for Steam to finish downloading.
- Open ETS2 and go to your profile's Mod Manager.
- Enable "Pasajeros en Ruta Lite" and confirm the changes.
- Place it alongside the rest of your traffic mods and load your save: the vehicles show up on the road on their own.
