What this mod does
In this revision, galimim reworks the engines and gearboxes of the Renault Magnum, Premium and Range T, using data from Renault Trucks brochures and ZF’s product finder. It’s been on the official SCS forum since 2016; on May 9, 2026 the author uploaded version 1.18, which fixes the engine badges after the game’s 1.59 patch.
What it changes
- Euro 5/EEV DXi11 (Premium) and DXi13 (Magnum) engines, plus Euro 6 DTI 11, DTI 13, DE 11, DE 13 and DE 13 Turbo Compound engines for the Range T, with badges.
- ZF Ecosplit, Optidriver (including the XTENDED AT2613F with a crawler reverse gear) and B14 gearboxes, with several axle ratios.
- Names you can decode: in «Optidriver ATO2612D», AT means automated, O overdrive, 26 the maximum torque, 12 the number of gears and D the revision.
- Updated Euro 6 torque curve, adjusted fuel consumption, and realistic engine brake and retarder.
Trucks and load order
It works with the stock Renaults and Polatlı Mods Team’s Range T; there’s a separate version for Schumi’s Premium Reworked. It must be loaded above all your Renault and sound mods. To keep a different sound, you have to change the sound bank on each engine’s sound line.

The first post doesn’t state an exact version; the latest fix is for 1.59.

How to install it
- Open galimim's thread on the SCS forum and download Renault Drivetrain Revision 1.18 from the Google Drive link in the first post.
- If you use Schumi's Premium Reworked, download its specific version instead of the regular one.
- Copy the file to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod and place it above your Renault and sound mods.
- At the service shop you'll see the DXi, DTI and DE engines and the Optidriver, Ecosplit and B14 gearboxes.
- Before disabling it, refit a stock engine and gearbox on your trucks.

Common problems
What is the Optidriver?
Renault Trucks' automated gearbox (the equivalent of Volvo's I-Shift); the mod includes several, including the XTENDED ones with a crawler reverse gear.
Does it work on 1.61?
The author doesn't state an exact version; 1.18 fixes the badges for patch 1.59.
Does it work with Schumi's Premium?
Yes, but with the separate version for that rework, not the regular one.
