What this mod does

Improved Suspension Behavior, by TruckerKid, is the Euro Truck Simulator 2 version of his suspension mod. It uses the new chassis parameters SCS added to trucks in the 1.61 update to change how they turn, settle and move, with data the author researched for each model.

What it adjusts

  • Caster angle for each truck, based on the values the author found for that model.
  • Maximum wheel steering angle adjusted per model using the available data.
  • Damping changed on the front and rear axles, with the front ones a bit softer.
  • Anti-roll bar slightly stiffer than in the base game on every truck.
  • All trucks switch to the “heavy” suspension class and rigid axles.
  • Cab with slightly softer damping and more mass.

Version

It was released on October 3, 2026 and updated on October 23. That revision adds parameters some trucks were missing, eases the anti-roll bar slightly (it’s still stiffer than stock) and adds disc brake parameters meant for the future. It’s made for 1.61, the version that introduced these parameters.

The page doesn’t mention load order, modded trucks or multiplayer. The author publishes a separate version for American Truck Simulator and accepts donations via Buy Me a Coffee and PayPal.
